About Dr. Nels Rasmussen

Dr. Nels Rasmussen is a third-generation chiropractor. His parents and grandparents were chiropractors, so natural healing has always been a part of his life. He is also an ordained minister and a spiritual healer.

Over the last four decades, he has worked to perfect his ability to heal both people and animals. After 36 years, he retired from being a chiropractor in 2016 and closed his office with a goal to expand his spiritual/energy healing work with people and their pets, making it worldwide.

He and Martha were married in 1978. She grew up on a farm and had a long history of rescuing both wild and domestic animals. Animals have been a huge part of their lives. Many that were saved were near death, and to see them regain their happy, healthy lives has given them great joy.

Understanding the Human-Pet Connection

Life is energy, and sometimes energy blockages occur, causing distress in body and mind, at times with very serious consequences. For years, Dr. Nels has only worked on his own animals and witnessed how life is so powerful and the body, if given time and understanding, can naturally heal even from paralysis, behavioral issues, and emotional trauma. Over the years, he has also become aware of the integral relationship between owners and their pets and how one’s ill health affects the other. Eventually, he began to reach out to those heartbroken over their suffering pets and decided to share his knowledge beyond his own home.

Empowering Through Healing Ministry for Animals

Dr. Nels and Martha made it their mission to empower people to help their pets and themselves through natural healing, to live better, happier, and healthier lives. He founded the Healing Ministry for Animals private membership association as the vehicle for doing this.

Healing Ministry for Animals hosts free webinar workshops to empower members to maintain a vibrant, health-producing connection with their pets. Membership also gives them access to Dr. Nels for free consultations to discuss their health issues, or those of their pets, and if appropriate, engage his healing services for an additional fee.

Dr. Nels believes that all our senses are really a form of touching our world. Since he works with energy, life’s force, he can work worldwide with anyone to become empowered to find their blockages and reconnect the body-mind-spirit for improved mobility, health, and happiness for pets and owners alike.
