Are Skin Allergies in Dogs on the Rise?

Here’s the word from Google AI:

Yes, skin allergies in dogs are becoming increasingly common, with studies showing significant rises in cases, making them a leading health issue for pets, driven by environmental factors like increased pollen, pollutants, and changes in climate, as well as genetics. Reports indicate sharp increases in allergy-related claims and diagnoses, with some data suggesting nearly 9 out of 10 dogs in the U.S. may struggle with skin issues, leading to persistent itching and infections.

What is behind the rise in skin allergies in dogs?

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but that article is whitewashing and ignoring a crucial change that is affecting most pets these days. Just like with human children, the vaccine schedule has mushroomed for pets as well. Even the president has gone on record saying that the vaccination schedule for children is out of control and needs a harsh re-examining. Our pets are not far behind in this vaccination race. Puppies can get 15 vaccines by 16 weeks and then up to 8 more annually! I’m just going to call that what it is, ANIMAL ABUSE! The ingredients in those shots are designed to provoke an inflammatory body response. Of course they can result in chronic inflammation affecting the skin, gut, and nerve system.

You know, this was not the direction I was going to go with this article at all, but that opening paragraph used the phrase, “driven by environmental factors…” and simply left out the biggest change in our dogs’ “environment” over the last 20 or so years! “…nearly 9 out of 10 dogs in the U.S. may struggle with skin issues…”??? Unbelievable!!!

What can we do to protect and heal our pets?

First, avoid deliberately putting more toxic substances into your pet. Then do things that restore health like getting the best quality food you can afford, meat and veggies, light on grains and potatoes, and no soy or peas. Also, get their nerve and energy systems rebalanced so that the body can function as it was designed to do. A body that has been subject to repeated chemical assaults is in desperate need of rebalancing.

None of the preceding statements have been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Thank God! Then they would be toxic too!
